This is a picture of a baby still latched on to its mother. The babies will come in and out of the pouch, but remain attached for a few days before separating from its mother. |

To the left is a two week out of pouch baby Sugar Glider. The first week, the baby's eyes were closed. As you can tell, its eyes have now opened and is looking at the world for the first time. |

Here is a three week out of pouch baby. There's not too much difference from the picture above, but the baby's fur has begun to fill out. |
